Just heard that the first six, LEED Platinum certified homes in Brad Pitt’s rehab project in New Orleans are now finished. The homes use sustainable materials and donated time and effort to come in under the symbolic $150,000 budget. Congratulations to everyone involved! via Architectural Record

This is a very neat idea…I suppose it’s cleaner, as there is no dirt, etc to deal with.
I love orchids and didn’t realize they were especially good at cleaning the air of toxins…Awesome!
We have about 10 of them in the house of all different & beautiful colors.

what a good idea this is! hydroponics is also good, growing plants without water…im not sure if its the same thing…the difference being that this one uses plants that help clean the air…?
